Duncan Memorial Chapel

Duncan Memorial Chapel is a classic venue for the intimate wedding or elopement. The getting ready suite is elegant, light and airy and the grounds and pond make for lovely portrait backdrops. The chapel itself is cozy with large stained-glass windows and traditional pews.

Eden Springs Farmstead

Simpsonville, Kentucky

Style: Rustic, Barn, Rural

The Barn at Eden Springs is a 200 year old tobacco barn, surrounded by acres of gorgeous farmland. For the bride and groom looking for a more rustic venue, this farmstead features a gazebo overlooking the pond and a breathtaking tree-lined driveway. Eden Springs takes a limited number of weddings each year.

Waterfront Botanical Gardens

Louisville, Kentucky

Style: Floral, Outdoor/Indoor, Elegant

This relatively new wedding venue in Louisville, Kentucky has “blossomed” into an elegant location for the couple who wants their guests to enjoy interesting and beautiful surroundings during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The Botanical Gardens offer indoor/outdoor options in case of rain and the most incredible views from its outdoor ceremony location. As a photographer, the floral backgrounds provide a plethora of portrait locations as well.

The Refinery

Jeffersonville, Indiana

Style: Exposed Brick, Modern, Outdoor/Indoor

For those who are familiar with the old Kye’s venue in Jeffersonville (right next the the 2nd Street Bridge), the Refinery has taken this classic venue and updated it to be one of the most beautiful and easily accessible venues on the Southern Indiana side of the river. The Refinery has a number of flexible setups, a smaller venue nearby for more intimate events (The Reserve), getting-ready lounges and indoor/outdoor options. In addition, the Refinery offers in-house floral design and decor – and it is INCREDIBLE.

Peterson Dumesnil House

Louisville, Kentucky

If you are looking for an elegant venue for an intimate wedding, the Peterson Dumesnil House is perfect for your event. There are so many setups at this space – outdoor ceremony, tented reception, indoor reception or reception on the porch. There are getting ready spaces and so many portrait locations. Clementine Events & Catering does a phenomenal job of providing food and beverages for your perfect wedding day.

Blackacre Conservancy & Historic Homestead

Louisville, Kentucky

Style: Rustic, Farm, Historic, Tent

Imagine your wedding day under a beautiful white tent, surrounded with flowering fields, a historic home and grazing Kentucky horses. Blackacre Farm provides a number of locations for all sizes of weddings and you cannot beat the location. An added perk is the open vendor policy that allows couples to choose their own caterers, rentals etc.

My Old Kentucky Home

Bardstown, Kentucky

My Old Kentucky Home is the consummate Kentucky venue for couples who were born and bred in the Bluegrass. With 200 year old buildings, pathways and the gorgeous “formal garden”, the portrait options are endless here. The history provides cocktail hour entertainment for guests and the grounds offer indoor and outdoor options for your reception. An additional photography perk – couples who book here receive an engagement photography pass if you opt to have your engagement session here (normally an added admission fee)

Muhammad Ali Center

Louisville, Kentucky

Style: Modern, Downtown, Indoor/Outdoor

The Muhammad Ali Center is one of the first things you’ll notice about Louisville if you’re driving from the west – the bright brick mural is one of the most unique things about our beautiful city (and provides an incredible backdrop for bridal portraits). The views of the Ohio River at the venue cannot be beat and guests have additional access to the many exhibits during cocktail hour.

Huber’s Winery

Starlight, Indiana

Style: Rustic, Traditional, Outdoor/Indoor

For couples who don’t mind crossing over into Southern Indiana, Huber’s Winery provides a classic ceremony and reception venue with some of the best catering you can imagine. Indoor and outdoor options are available and the vineyards make a beautiful backdrop for portraits.
