If you’ve been following us for any length of time, you’d probably seen me post several times about this wonderful family who have watched Emma and Jude for the past 4 years. The Prestons are like family to us and sometimes I forget how long I’ve known them. Just a few days ago, Allison and I were looking over some old photos of her kids that I had taken. Maddie was Emma’s age (maybe younger?!) when I first met their family.

It’s hard to imagine having better friends and our favorite joke for the past 4 years (not Allison’s favorite…) has been that Maddie should drop out of high school and just come live with us as our at-home nanny. Lucky for Maddie, she didn’t take us up on that offer! Instead, she is about to graduate high school and we could not be more proud of her.

Maddie, you are kind, hilarious, outgoing but thoughtful and one of Emma’s heroes. We love you so much and we are so excited to celebrate this milestone with you. ❤️
